Welcome to Fannin United Methodist Church

Our passion is to glorify God by reaching out, bringing in, growing up, and sending out faithful followers of Christ.

Fannin UMC is a church that is first and foremost, grounded in the Word of God.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of the Living God; and that He alone, is the way, the truth, and the life necessary for forgiveness, redemption, and restoration by the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son have sent God the Holy Spirit into the world as a counselor, a guide, and a teacher of those who seek to be or who are disciples of Jesus. These principles of faith are more fully set forth in what we call “The Apostles’ Creed.”

Secondly, Fannin church is on a mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ and to send those disciples around our local community and the world. We believe that faith in Jesus Christ calls us to love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength; and our neighbors as ourselves. This means that one of the most important ways that we love our God, is by loving and serving our neighbors.

Fannin is a church dedicated to loving each other, both members and visitors alike. You will never see more neighborly love expressed among friends as you will experience during Sunday morning worship, Sunday School, and fellowship time on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and special events. That’s why our invitation to visit us has the tag line: “Come Feel The Welcome.”
